Virtual manikin
Digital 1:1 replica of the physical manikin for use in CFD simulations. Enables combined experimental and numerical analysis of thermal environments, allowing results to be validated against the physical manikin to reduce the need for repeated physical testing.
The virtual manikin is a geometrically accurate digital twin of the physical manikin, with matching zone definitions, allowing numerical (CFD) and experimental results to be directly compared. This lets users validate simulations against measured data from the real manikin and explore design variations virtually before committing to physical testing.
Because the geometry and zoning correspond to the physical manikin, boundary conditions such as zone-level heat loss and skin temperature can be transferred between the simulation and the experiment. This supports a combined experimental–numerical workflow and reduces the amount of repeated physical testing required.
