History
1984
The development of a new thermal manikin at the Danish Technical University. The wiring and control system was developed by Peter Trans.
1988
PT Teknik was founded by Peter Trans as a reaction on thermal manikin demand from visiting researchers of DTU..
2001
The new generation of manikins with internal intelligent control system.
Since 2001
The manikins have been gradually improved in collaboration with researchers and users all over the world. In addition, a natural breathing system, a multifunctional walking machine and other accessories have been developed to broaden the applications of the manikins and enable a more realistic simulation of thermal comfort.
2018
The first sweating manikin have been produced and delivered to customer in Japan.
2020
The team was expanded, and the company ownership was restructured with new owners. The new team stays committed to continue the legacy of constant innovation, excellent customer support and high flexibility in meeting customer requirements.
2025
Founder Peter Trans takes a well-deserved retirement—though he will retain a symbolic key to the company, continuing to contribute as a consultant.
