Male manikin used for thermal comfort evaluation of COVID19 kits

The university has acquired a male manikin which has been given the name ´Reva´. It is used by researchers and scientists.

Recently the manikin has been applied to derive CLO values of COVID19 kits to be used by doctors and frontline medical workers. Previously the manikin has been used in research related to low energy cooling systems and personalised cooling systems.

“It is a very robust machine, very easy to operate once fundamentals are clear about its design. It is a prized possession for us, we love it. Lot’s of students and consultants are interested in knowing more and more about how it works.

We also extremely pleased to state that we have received excellent technical support from PT Teknik after we purchased it”
